Painting atelier according to A.Stern Bringing the "game of painting" to street children, orphaned, abandoned and often abused children means giving them a break in their daily hell to be themselves in peace and serenity. Following the principles of Arno Stern's Closlieu, Luisa Adami has activated a space for free and creative painting in some of the school centers and shelters supported by Skychildren. Painting without following a model, without programs or an objective to achieve, away from conditioning and judgements, following one's own rhythm, only for one's own pleasure, becomes a very powerful opportunity for self-gratification. In a personal journey in which the development of fine manual skills is accompanied by the growth of the whole person, children feel completely welcomed and can increase their self-esteem, sense of responsibility and a balance which, for example, poses a barrier to addictions. . Abilities that were previously unknown to the child himself can be manifested, and he derives security and profound satisfaction from them. Children too traumatized to speak, children with physical or cognitive disabilities, in recent years are benefiting greatly from the opportunity represented by this project.
